Maintenance Mechanic
Wage: $35-$45 / hour
Position Overview
Apollo Mech is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance to ensure the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of our machinery. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and experienced in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and repair machines and mechanical equipment
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical and operational issues in a timely manner.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and determine the most effective corrective actions.
Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company and safety standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair machinery
Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook for documentation and communication.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment diagrams.
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment or materials as needed.
Comfortable working in industrial environments, including standing, bending, and climbing.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
