The Laborer / Truck Driver is responsible for safely loading, unloading, and transporting materials using manual methods and forklifts. This role secures loads, follows all traffic laws, and works collaboratively within a team environment. The position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to take direction, and a clean driving record. While a CDL is not required, candidates must be able to pass a CDL-type physical and lift up to 35 lbs. Overtime availability is essential as the role will transition from 40 to 60 hours per week.
Location: 1250 N. Center Point Rd., Hiawatha, IA 52233
Wage Range: $22–$26 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Position starts at 40 hours/week, moving to 60 hours/week. Must be available for overtime.
Responsibilities
· Load and unload material manually and with forklift.
· Secure loads for safe transport.
· Understand and obey all traffic laws.
· Take direction well and work effectively in a team environment.
· Maintain good organizational skills.
Skills & Requirements
· Clean driving record.
· CDL not required, but must be able to pass CDL-type physical.
· Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
· Willingness and availability to work overtime as needed.
